POLITEKK114 has a value of 95 Shore D hardness and a range of service temperature between 30°F to 570°F;
it can be applied on every type of metal with a good adhesion, in one layer or more layers configuration, with a minimum thick of 1 mm ( 0.04 inches).
Its dense formulation makes it usable also on vertical surfaces.

POLITEKK114 is pleasing to the touch and to the eye and has got a rough and uniform surface; it is charged by small dimension particles that are very abrasive and give to the coating a very high wear resistance, even in presence of abrasive parts with medium dimension.
The inside charges are mixed to give isotropy to the product, which has homogeneous physical and chemical characteristics.

This kind of polymer coating is suitable for environment and situations where the erosion wear is generated by micro-hits and falls and rolling of small and medium abrasive bodies, like powders suction plants, storage tanks and hoppers in manufacturing industries.

The requirement to increase the performances of single components subjected to wear is necessary to increase the life of the component and cut-off the service time.
Especially useful for this situation is POLITEKK114 with double layer and "alarm layer marker", which is composed by the first layer (in contact with the metal substrate) coloured by red and above this another white layer.
The first layer, also called marker, can indicate the duration and the wear status of the coating and can put in evidence the zones which are more attacked by wear to help considering a higher thick of coating in those parts in future maintenance.
The marker layer has also the function of alarm signal and permit to easily plan a service program of operations.
