These materials resist fretting very good, fretting is the corrosion and cavitation which happens in the contact zone between two metallic parts due to vibrations.
Molybdenum has a small friction coefficient and it works well in situations where the lubrification is hard to use and has also a good wear resistance.
Copper has a good corrosion and oxidation resistance and can be easily machined on tools.
Their primary use is for bearings, but copper can also be used in electronic industry for connectors parts.

Regeneration of parts compromised and very attacked by wear. With thermal spray technology (both hot and cold processes) it's possible to spray a special anti-wear alloy over some zones of the part which are compromised to regenerate it and avoid the substitution of the part, useful for bigger parts.
After the process the new sprayed zones can be easily worked by tools to obtain the requested geometry.
