Oxyzircotech is a Zirconium oxide based protective coating used
for Thermal Barrier Coating (TBC).
Its excellent chemical and thermal stability make this coating resist to temperature
up to 2450°F in corrosive environments with any type of gas.
The structure of Oxyzircotech is very resistant to thermal fatigue cycles and also
the bond coating is designed for increasing adhesive strength and thermal stability.
Normally Zirconium Oxide coatings are used on hot sections of gas turbines and engines
and also on power distributor's rotor.
It is also used in aeronautic and automotive sectors, and in other applications
where metals are in contact with very high temperatures.
Our duty is to bring this technology to industrial sectors where Zirconium oxide
is still unknown, and to make sure of this T.W.R. invested on process automation
and laboratory's technologies in order to make a production process which is controlled
and economical.
Coating characteristics:
Thickness goes from 0.004 to 0.015 inches.
Vickers Hardness: from 600 to 750 HV.
Roughness value after grinding: 0.4 Ra
